Why 450
If you're considering a jiu-jitsu gym on Montreal's North Shore, here's what sets us apart — plainly, no jargon.
Laval and Terrebonne. Both share the same method, the same teaching quality, the same NOGI approach. Each gym has its own coach team and schedule — pick the one closest to you.
See both gymsBlack and brown belts trained under Firas Zahabi at Tristar Montreal. Years of teaching experience, alongside active competition. We use the CLA method (constraint-led approach) with adults: learn through play, in realistic situations, so it sticks and applies.
Meet the instructorsWe teach jiu-jitsu without the kimono (NOGI) for every age group — adults and kids alike. It's faster, more athletic, and closer to real situations. Rashguard and shorts for everyone, no kimono.
Monthly memberships auto-renew — cancel anytime. 10-class passes never expire. First class free, for both adults and kids.
See pricingKids (5–12), teens, adult beginners, advanced adults, a women's class, and wrestling. Same method, adapted per group. Kids classes are supervised by several coaches at once — safety first.
See all programsAthletes competing at IBJJF, ADCC, and local tournaments. But 90% of members train for health, community, and fun. Both levels coexist — beginners and competitors learn from each other.
Mats are cleaned and disinfected after every class — not once a day. Full 2-inch tatami, over 4 inches of shock foam, over 6 more inches of protection: ten inches under your feet. Skin infection or open cut? You stay off the mats until healed.
